Studio/daylight comparison

One model – two looks. The first pictures were shot with a studio flash for a hard look, and then we used daylight for a softer feel.

Sun-kissed vs slick

Two different looks again, both with the same girl. Both were shot in the studio with pretty much the same lighting, but the feel was created through hair, make-up and post.

This is a collection of the moody side of my studio work, all shot in the last year or so for a range of publications and for my portfolio. Some shot on film and some on digital – I wanted to see how digital handles this lower level of lighting that film treats so well.
